Product Guarantee

Given the nature of used gaylords and boxes being previously used and that we did not manufacture them ourselves, UsedCardboardBoxes does not make any product guarantees. However, if you are dissatisfied with your delivery, let us know immediately and we'll do our best to make it right.

Returns

Your Satisfaction is Key to UCB's Success! When your order arrives, please inspect it IMMEDIATELY and inform your UsedCardboardBoxes representative of any discrepancies (include pictures and detailed description). If you receive the boxes you ordered, but decide to reject or return them, you (the customer) will be responsible for freight to and from your facility.

Refunds

Returns will be accepted once proof of the issue has been confirmed, which must include clear photographs of the item(s) and relevant documentation outlining the issue. To initiate a return, please contact our order issues team (orderissues@usedcardboardboxes.com) with the necessary documentation, and once the issue is confirmed, you will receive instructions on how to return the item. After we receive the returned item(s), we will inspect them to verify the issue. Based on this inspection, UCB will either issue a credit to your account or a refund to your original payment method. The choice between issuing a credit or a refund will be agreed upon between UCB and the customer.

Shipping Guarantee

Because of our strategically placed warehouses for all used items, all orders are delivered within 3 business days. All consumer orders placed on a business day before 2:00pm (your local time) Monday - Friday, will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 2pm (your local time) on Friday and before 2pm on Monday will be shipped out on Monday. Remember, Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays are not considered business days. This guarantee does not extend to brand new items, which are shipped from a separate fulfillment center network with longer transit times. See our shipping policy for more details.

Returns

Our policy lasts 3 days. If 3 business days days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Given the nature of our business, boxes and accessories cannot be returned for refund or credit after you have used them for your move. Gift cards are also not returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 3 business days after delivery

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5-7 business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at CustomerService@UsedCardboardBoxes.com or call 1-888-BOXES-88 (1-888-2693-788) to make the request.

Shipping

To return your product, follow the instructions given by the authorized UCB Customer Experience Specialist.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
