UsedCardboardBoxes & UCBZeroWaste (UCB) doesn't cut down any trees. Instead, we rescue truckloads of quality used boxes from large companies that might otherwise recycle them or simply throw them away. They are guaranteed to work just as well as a new box (See our Satisfaction Guarantee).

Our boxes are either once used or may even be new factory misprints, overruns or customer returns that are no longer needed. Thanks to the technology behind UsedCardboardBoxes and our relationships with the manufacturers, distributors and large companies who unpack millions of boxes a year, we are able to "rescue" those boxes and make them available to you at deep discounts! Any way you look at it, getting enough boxes to move a 1 bedroom apartment, an entire office, let alone a 5 bedroom house is expensive and wasteful!

We keep things simple. We don't stock every size and dimension of every cardboard box ever made! We pre-pack our boxes along with convenient accessories into low-cost, earth-friendly "kits" that consist of the sizes and shapes used most often by do-it-yourself movers and professional moving companies. This way, we focus our attention on the quality of our boxes and offer our customers the lowest price possible. And, we always include FREE SHIPPING!

Some of our boxes will have printing on them. Some may have tape, packing labels or even handwriting on them. However, if a box doesn't pass our quality inspections, it doesn't go to a UsedCardboardBoxes.com customer; it goes straight to the recycling plant!

Common USED Box Sizes

As UsedCardboardBoxes.com is at the mercy of whatever boxes are being unpacked by large companies, UCB cannot guarantee specific sizes packed within the moving kits. However, we do guarantee their cubic footage size and provide a few common examples below.

Mediums - These boxes are approximately 1.50 - 2.49 cubic feet in size. Common sizes include but are not limited to:

    • 19x13x14
    • 19x11x16
    • 23x15x10

Larges - These boxes are approximately 2.50 - 3.59 cubic feet in size. Common sizes include but are not limited to:

    • 23x15x16
    • 20x16x16
    • 20x16x20

X-Larges - These boxes are approximately 3.60+ cubic feet in size. Common sizes include but are not limited to:

    • 21x14x22
    • 24x20x17
    • 24x16x18
